In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Utilize Azure data storage and processing solutions, including Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and implement a consolidated data management platform with efficient data ingestion, collation, transformation, and maintenance of data governance standards.
• Deliver quality data to the Enterprise Insights environment for analysis and reporting.
• Support data literacy and increase platform adoption and efficiency.
• Resolve data-related queries and issues on a daily basis.
• Support daily tasks within the landscape of legacy data solutions.
• Participate in data governance initiatives.
• Facilitate transition to the new platform where applicable.
• Understand business and technical rules in legacy solutions.
• Support teams throughout transformation/business project lifecycle.
• Design and execute data migration activities to support systems upgrades and evolution.

This role requires you to have:

• Sound understanding of conceptual, architectural, and technical principles in data management, data lake/warehouse, and visualization solutions.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and solutions.
• Ability to comprehend business goals, rules, and requirements and provide efficient and accessible solutions.
• Efficient collaboration and communication between management and front-line employees.
• Strong organizational planning and implementation skills in rapidly changing environments.
• Adoption of lifecycle management of data solutions, including source code management and technical documentation.
• Proficient in issue investigation and resolution.
• Attention to detail, effective time management, and self-motivation.
• Results-oriented with an agile mindset, able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.

You would benefit from having:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in business intelligence and data engineering.
• Conceptual understanding of Data Warehouse/Data Lake principles.
