The Data Scientist role within the Team Expansion team aims to empower admins to onboard more colleagues onto Atlassian products. This position involves a range of analytical tasks using complex datasets to shape team direction.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on various product and business problems.
• Leverage quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data presentation to develop business strategies.
• Develop hypotheses and test them using analytical methods.
• Identify and test product improvement opportunities.
• Inform and execute strategic decisions with cross-functional teams.
• Measure the success of product efforts through key metrics monitoring.
• Use data to shape product development and identify new opportunities and challenges.

This role requires you to have:

• 3+ years in analytics roles
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience in designing and analyzing experiments
• Superior SQL skills
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools
