The Australian Government is seeking a Data Analyst for the APS 6 level. The role supports the Mine Warfare & Clearance Diving Task Group at HMAS Waterhen in Sydney, focusing on analytical methodologies for Mine Counter Measure Operations. This position is integral to tactical developments in mine warfare.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Conduct Post Mission Analysis with limited guidance.
- Develop methodologies for Mine Counter Measure Operations.
- Participate in joint planning groups to further data analysis at operational and tactical levels.
- Assist in managing the Mine Command Support Database.
- Draft Data Analysis instructions and post mission reports.
- Support deployed teams of the MCDTG during Operations and Exercises.
