The Australian Signals Directorate needs skilled Data Analysts to enhance their cyber security efforts. Positioned within ASD's Australian Cyber Security Centre, the Strategic Threat Analysis and Trends section focuses on generating cyber threat insights to defend key systems. Successful candidates will leverage operational data to inform strategic threat assessments and drive cybersecurity initiatives.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Perform detailed analysis of operational data to identify cyber threats.
• Support effective communication of emerging threats and trends to stakeholders.
• Foster partnerships across intelligence and security communities for data enrichment and threat assessment.
• Develop, lead, and share expertise in data analysis and threat intelligence.
• Coordinate and assure quality in threat analysis processes, briefing stakeholders effectively.
