The Data Platforms Crew is responsible for developing strategic data layers, transitioning from on-premises services to the cloud, and centralizing data sources on one platform. The role of Technical Data Analyst involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to build a world-class data platform, enabling data science, AI, and business insights across the group.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design solutions for data platforms using knowledge in data pipelines, architecture, and job orchestration.
• Enhance platform capability to record metadata, track data lineage, and monitor job performance.
• Elicit requirements from key stakeholders, including senior management, and translate them into functional designs.
• Support and participate in both functional and non-functional testing.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience with data design, flows, data layers, and data semantics.
• Confidence in working with large data sets from various sources.
• Ability to analyze data profiles, data lineage, and patterns to mitigate risks.
• Proficiency in gathering requirements and contributing to solution design and data modeling.
• SQL skills

You would benefit from having:

• Knowledge of messaging platforms like Kafka.
• Exposure to Teradata Group Data Warehouse, Cloudera Hadoop, Datastage, and other ETL frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud-based data warehousing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
