This role focuses on designing and developing data warehouse solutions using Azure and other cloud technologies to support business objectives. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Design scalable data warehouse solutions using Azure and cloud platforms.
- Define data architecture and integration patterns to support business needs.
- Create and optimize data models for high availability and performance.
- Develop ETL processes for data integration from multiple sources.
- Implement data pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
- Ensure data consistency and quality across all data assets.
- Monitor and optimize data warehouse performance and query efficiency.
- Ensure data solutions meet security and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and data engineers.

This role requires you to have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data warehouse design and development.
- Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake.
- Strong SQL knowledge and data modeling experience.
- Expertise in ETL processes and data pipeline design.
- Hands-on experience with Python and Spark.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
- Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and visualization.
Preferred work authorization in Australia. Hybrid work location in Carlton VIC 3053.
