EnergyAustralia requires a Data Analyst to be part of its Customer Data office. This role is vital in the ongoing data uplift programme, working with technical and business stakeholders to ensure actionable insights. The successful candidate will join a cross-functional squad focused on improving data capability, modelling, and governance.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Analyse and collate complex datasets to support technical requirements and data uplift initiatives
• Perform sophisticated distributional and statistical analyses to support business initiatives
• Gather and translate requirements from business stakeholders into informative dashboards
• Maintain dashboard infrastructure and assets to meet stakeholder SLAs
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues arising from upstream data processing

This role requires you to have:

• Tertiary qualification in computer science, data science, statistics, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven data analysis experience with strong SQL, Excel, and Python skills
• Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
• Ability to present complex data clearly and actionably
• Broad knowledge of cloud data systems and delivery of data projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
