EnergyAustralia seeks a Data Analyst Lead to play an integral role in their ongoing data uplift programme. This role involves partnering with technical SMEs and senior business stakeholders to lead delivery and thought leadership in all data-related initiatives.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Analyze and collate complex datasets to support technical requirements and data uplift initiatives.
  • Utilize technical skills to perform sophisticated statistical insights and analytics work for business initiatives.
  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into informative dashboards.
  • Ensure maintenance of dashboard infrastructure and assets to meet stakeholder SLAs.
  • Investigate and resolve any data quality issues from upstream data processing.
  • Direct squad SMEs working on various data products.

This role requires you to have:

  • Tertiary Qualification in computer science, data science, statistics or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in data analysis with strong skills in SQL, Excel, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Experience in leading delivery and managing technical reports or resources.
  • Ability to present complex data clearly and actionably.
  • Broad knowledge of cloud data systems and products with experience in delivering data projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
