EnergyAustralia seeks a Technical Analyst to join their dynamic data office. This role is vital to their enterprise-wide data uplift programme, bridging end users, Product Owners, business owners, and the DevSecOps squad. This cross-functional team aims to enhance data capabilities, modeling, and governance throughout the company.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Analyze and compile data to support technical requirements
  • Create conditions and acceptance criteria for building technology systems
  • Provide high-level assessments for technology programs, including process re-engineering and cost-benefit analysis
  • Engage with the business to prepare for User Acceptance Testing
  • Develop documentation that accurately reflects current functionalities and processes

This role requires you to have:

  • Effective gathering and management of technical business requirements
  • Broad knowledge of cloud data systems and products
  • Experience in delivering data projects
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Exposure to DevSecOps delivery/environments

You would benefit from having:

  • Exposure to PowerBI
  • Experience in Redshift
  • Knowledge of Databricks
  • Experience with AWS & Azure DevOps
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA or equivalent)
