The position is based at their Perth R&D facilities, immersed in collaborative and forward-thinking projects.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project and engineering teams on advanced technology for mining and railway equipment.
• Manage test data and design offloading pipelines for Green Fleet projects.
• Develop efficient database architectures for large datasets.
• Oversee big data management using databases such as AWS S3, Snowflake, and InfluxDB.
• Conduct thorough requirements analysis for engineering data.
• Draft high-level data pipeline architectures and workflows.
• Enhance and maintain data-driven web applications.
• Work closely with Fortescue Technology teams to align architecture design with business objectives.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and management
• Proficient in SQL optimization
• Experience with MQTT protocol

• Knowledge of Fast API, Streamlit, and React.js
• Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, GitHub, etc.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols
