The Data Risk Analyst plays a crucial role in managing data risks, contributing to the security of HESTA's data assets while working closely with internal teams.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee data risk and control landscape, implementing data controls.
  • Conduct control testing and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Prudential Practice Guides.
  • Consult with teams on data risk management and drive data governance initiatives.
  • Lead responses to audits and reviews, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
  • Optimize and uplift operating models for data risk management.

This role requires you to have:

  • Experience in data risk and controls within financial services or similar industries.
  • Understanding of data governance frameworks and risk management practices.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing data controls and conducting risk assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in technology, computer science, finance, or related fields.
