Hudson is seeking a Principal Data Analyst to join their Program Design and Delivery team. The role involves shaping and implementing investment programs for a large organization, addressing the needs of target populations. The successful candidate will provide strategic recommendations supported by data analysis and evidence, contributing to the success of the initiatives. They will work closely with the Director and team manager.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Identify and analyze information from various sources to provide authoritative advice on complex client, stakeholder, and community demands and outcomes.
• Develop and implement tools and systems using advanced data analytics techniques to assess program design, implementation, and effectiveness.
• Monitor program performance and expenditure to ensure value for money and alignment with government priorities and departmental objectives.
• Design and generate system-level reports to inform funding proposals, business cases, and procurement strategies.
• Prepare written materials, including correspondence and briefing papers, to support advice to government and other stakeholders.
• Foster positive relationships with stakeholders across government and human services networks.
• Contribute to a professional work environment focused on ethical behavior, staff well-being, and continuous improvement.
• Undertake tasks assigned by the Director and/or manager to support innovation and efficient delivery.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced team members.

This role requires you to have:

• Complex data analysis using business intelligence software (e.g., Power BI)
• Data interpretation and presentation to various audiences
• Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret data
• Written communication skills for correspondence and briefing papers
• Stakeholder management and relationship-building
