In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design scalable data pipelines using GCP services like BigQuery, DataFlow, and Cloud Storage.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion and transformation.
• Optimise data workflows for performance and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists for seamless data access.
• Maintain code repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data infrastructure issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends and improve engineering practices.

This role requires you to have:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, particularly with GCP.
• Expertise in SQL and BigQuery.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with data warehousing and schema design.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and frameworks.
