The NSW Reconstruction Authority, a body within the Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure division, focuses on strengthening disaster preparedness and accelerating recovery efforts across NSW. As part of their mission, the Authority requires a Senior Data Engineer to lead the development of innovative data solutions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Set up data ingestion pipelines with compliant processes.
• Enhance and maintain a scalable, interoperable central data repository.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for data transformation and insights generation in a cloud environment.
• Stay informed of best practices in Data Engineering and apply innovative analytics tools.
• Provide expertise to stakeholders on data practices and solution design.
