With a global presence, they are looking for a Data Engineer to cover a 12-month maternity leave at their Sydney location. The role focuses on advancing the data engineering strategy to enhance their commercial operations.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure for data operations.
- Develop automation pipelines for deployment and testing.
- Create ETL processes for data monetisation and dashboard production.
- Manage data ingestion and orchestration to improve analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet data needs.
- Adhere to compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
- 3-4+ years in scalable data management systems
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Git
- Experience with structured and semi-structured data
