In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor data pipelines to ensure availability.
• Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving for data pipeline issues.
• Design and roll out secure and reliable data services and pipelines.
• Collaborate with business teams and analysts to develop data solutions.
• Implement data pipelines with internal, external agencies and third-party providers.
• Administer ETL/ELT data engineering tasks, focusing on performance optimisation.
• Support diagnostic investigations and propose improvements.
• Maintain system documentation and procedures for data governance.
• Collaborate as part of a team, using critical thinking to resolve issues.
• Support IT management in defining and monitoring information architecture.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience with Azure and data integration tools like Databricks, Azure Data Factory.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Programming skills in Python.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
