RepairLink seeks a dynamic Data Engineer for their Insurance and Enterprise Technology division. This role involves driving the technical vision for the Data Warehousing Chapter at Suncorp Group. The position is a chance to lead data innovation projects and work alongside expert solution architects and data engineering professionals.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Implement DBT Core for data transformation on Databricks.
- Develop patterns and frameworks for Data Warehousing and Data Science.
- Build data assets in line with DET strategy and architecture.
- Champion CI/CD practices using Bitbucket and Jenkins.
- Coordinate deployment and release activities.
- Promote test-driven development and create unit test frameworks.
- Develop data engineering standards and implementation guides.
- Optimize code for Data Platform efficiency.

This role requires you to have:
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or IT.
- Minimum 2 years in Data Engineering.
- Experience with DBT and Databricks.
- Experience in data warehousing and analytics projects.
