In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to optimize data platform usage
• Develop and maintain efficient and sustainable data pipelines using cloud technologies
• Address challenges related to big data, throughput, and batch processing
• Enhance internal processes through automation and optimizing data delivery
• Ensure data security and risk management compliance at Shippit
• Work with AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Python, TypeScript, and Kafka

This role requires you to have:

• Minimum 5 years in a data engineering or related role
• Strong foundation in computer science or a quantitative field
• Experience with scalable data pipelines and cloud technologies
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
• Knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes, and data engineering principles
