AusNet connects renewable energy sources to communities, playing a key role in the clean energy transition. The Senior Data Engineer will join the Data & Digital Enablement team to implement scalable data architectures, contributing to strategic technical and operational capabilities.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and efficient data ingestion and transformation
• Define business objects and success criteria for data validation using Power BI
• Collaborate to develop scalable ETL pipelines
• Establish data quality standards
• Optimize data models for BI use cases
• Automate data tasks and optimize pipelines for reliability
• Provide technical leadership to junior engineers

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant fields
• Experience in data engineering roles
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, and big data tools
