Senior Data Engineer, Data Analytics

University of the Sunshine Coast is searching for a Senior Data Engineer situated within their Insights and Analytics Unit at either the Sunshine Coast or Moreton Bay Campus. This role exists to propel the university towards a data-centric future. The successful individual will work alongside external partners and cross-functional teams to advance data architecture and analytics solutions.

This role requires you to have:

• Technical expertise in data engineering, integration, and architecture.
• Hands-on experience in data modelling, ETL, and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R.

• Leadership and project management experience.
• Understanding of data governance, quality, and security best practices.
