Westpac is embarking on its largest transformation project, UNITE, aiming to streamline processes and enhance customer experiences. The Lead Data Analyst will play a crucial role in guiding the Data team, supporting the strategy of the Business & Wealth Division. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to manage data requirements efficiently.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Manage multiple portfolios and control project schedules.
• Act as a trusted advisor for senior stakeholder engagements in complex projects.
• Participate in cross-group forums to manage cross-program activities.
• Lead solution evaluations to assess data solution effectiveness.
• Coach teams to establish strong stakeholder relationships.
• Provide technical expertise on data workflows to the technology team.

• Proven experience in Banking & Finance.
• Extensive background in analytical roles such as Data, Credit, and Business.
• Commercial expertise in Business Intelligence Solutions.
• Advanced skills in SAS/SQL.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
