Westpac, a company with a rich history of over 200 years, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst within their Chief Data Office BI & Visualisation team. This team provides essential reporting and data solutions across diverse brands in the Westpac Group. The role is critical for managing both business as usual and change activities for risk and compliance management BI solutions using various technologies.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Support processes and systems for compliance breach detection, conduct risks, SOX controls, and sales quality.
- Manage senior stakeholders across different departments and projects.
- Handle multiple service desks, project deliverables, and stakeholder management to achieve high-quality outcomes.
- Ensure availability and accuracy of reporting and data solutions.
- Meet governance standards for reporting including documentation, visualisation, and SLAs.
- Identify and deliver new information solutions or enhancements with scoping and timelines.
- Focus on continuous improvement through automation and decommissioning.
- Provide timely and accurate information on request.
- Adhere to change management protocols and workflow management requirements.
- Support senior managers and establish strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Manage work pipelines and prioritisation discussions.
- Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

This role requires you to have:
- Experience in designing and developing reporting and data solutions using SAS, Teradata, MS SQL, SSIS, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Significant experience in technology change and support.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology.
