Junior Data Analyst

The ALDE Party unites liberal, democratic, and reformist parties from over 40 European countries. Based in Brussels, they support party activities, organize meetings, manage communications, and promote policy development. This role in the Research & Campaign team will help advance these goals through strategic data analysis and project support.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Conducting multi-country public opinion survey research including drafting questionnaires and programming surveys.
• Analyzing and visualizing data on European political parties.
• Developing reports on voting behavior, elections, and party competition.
• Managing data-related projects within the ALDE Party Secretariat.
• Maintaining secure and accurate databases.
• Organizing workshops and training seminars.
• Collaborating with member parties on best practices and activities.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience with survey research or related fields.
• Proficiency in the statistical programming language R.
• Ability to create parametrized reports.
• Strong quantitative analysis skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience with survey design.

You would benefit from having:

• Familiarity with survey platforms like Qualtrics or CMIX.
• Experience with Geodata, SQL, and data visualization.
