Allianz Benelux is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to spearhead advancements in their Finance data hub, facilitating seamless integration of data architectures to support their accounting functions. The role involves close collaboration with architects, BI analysts, IT specialists, and data scientists. This position exists to enhance data consistency and precision in finance and insurance, vital for the company's objectives.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Manage Data Warehouse Solutions for the Finance domain.
• Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines with leading technologies.
• Automate workflows to improve data delivery and consumption.
• Implement data models using Data Vault 2.0, Star schema, etc.
• Maintain data security and manage inventory across departments.
• Lead data governance, quality, and security efforts.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience leading data product teams in finance.
• Proficient with Datawarehouse tools such as Snowflake and DataVault 2.0.
• Expertise in building and optimizing big data pipelines.
• Proficiency with ETL/ELT tools like DBT, WhereScape, and SQLDbM.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong communication skills in English.
