BNP Paribas Fortis is seeking an experienced Data Scientist for their Artificial Intelligence Tribe, which consists of about 90 members including Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and more. The role is aimed at delivering innovative AI applications to improve customer interactions and streamline employee functions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop AI applications to tackle business challenges, including creating virtual assistants.
• Utilize a suite of analytical methods such as large language models and classical machine learning.
• Deploy AI applications using a comprehensive tool stack.
• Leverage a diverse and rich volume of data.
• Collaborate within an innovative, Agile team environment.

This role requires you to have:

• Master’s degree in statistics, computer science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of data science experience, preferably in the financial sector.
• Proficiency in Python and understanding of ML engineering.

• Multilingual abilities, specifically in English, French, and/or Dutch.
