Médecins Sans Frontières Belgium's communication and fundraising department consists of five specialized teams aiming to meet strategic objectives with advanced tools and solutions. As part of creating a new Communication and Fundraising Support and Solutions Team, the role of a Fundraising Data Analyst is vital in managing and analyzing data for informed decision-making, ensuring data integrity, and developing meaningful reports.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead the analytics transformation for the communication and fundraising digital systems.
• Collaborate with end-users to understand and gather data requirements and reporting needs.
• Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare comprehensive data reports for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reports.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for data models and processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers in developing a data repository following the Data Mesh philosophy.
• Support data governance initiatives to maintain data integrity and comply with practices.
• Share insights and best practices across departments to maintain consistency.
• Stay updated with the latest data analysis tools and propose process improvements.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data and business analysis, preferably in fundraising.
• Proficient in data analysis tools, CRM systems, and digital marketing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, or Click for data visualization.
• Proficient in SQL for data analysis and management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
