Senior BI & Data Analyst

Miraclon Corporation, home to FLEXCEL Solutions, is looking for a Senior BI & Data Analyst to join their IT team in Zaventem, Belgium. The role involves working closely with various business functions to create value from information technology by supporting business processes through innovative software solutions and data visualization tools.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Facilitate the gathering and documentation of business requirements with business process owners and subject matter experts.
• Analyze functional requirements and participate in developing business cases for process and IT changes.
• Lead the full software development lifecycle from analysis to development, testing, go-live, and aftercare.
• Create well-structured system specifications for change requests or new functionalities, and collaborate with external developers.
• Validate new solution designs with IT Architecture & Security to meet enterprise architecture and security guidelines.
• Provide end-user support for reports and dashboards through IT incident management.
• Report bugs and issues to the external support partner and ensure resolution.
• Conduct training sessions for new dashboards or releases.
• Act as a back-up for master data maintenance.

This role requires you to have:

• Extensive experience with data platforms like Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Synapse.
• Proficiency with BI solutions, preferably Microsoft Power BI.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence and data concepts and market trends.
• Fluency in English, both written and oral.

You would benefit from having:

• Broad knowledge of business processes, preferably from an international manufacturing or services environment.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
