As a leading provider of sustainable mobility and Belgium's largest electricity consumer, SNCB plays a vital role in achieving the nation's climate goals. The Energy Strategy & Transition team, created in 2023, consists of experts in energy and climate and is located near Brussels-Midi. They guide the organization in energy transitions, manage energy costs, and act as the sole point of contact for energy-related matters.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Manage and improve the quality of energy data in databases.
• Maintain, monitor, and optimize existing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Handle daily maintenance of the EMS tool, update user documentation, train users, and troubleshoot issues.
• Act as the operational contact for the EMS tool.
• Manage user access and rights.
• Develop strong networks within the SNCB and with partners such as Infrabel.
• Critically assess and propose improvements to procedures and work methods.

This role requires you to have:

• Master's degree
• Affinity for data analysis and processing
• Interest in energy management
• Passion for IT and tools
• Analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

You would benefit from having:

• Experience in database management
• Knowledge of Power BI
• Proficiency in French and Dutch
• Good knowledge of English (Selor B1 level)
