NN GROUP's IT Delivery team in Belgium is on the lookout for a passionate Data Engineer. The team is responsible for managing applications in an Agile setting, promoting swift collaboration and innovation. They are focused on building future-proof data solutions, simplifying their system architecture, and preparing for upcoming challenges.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance the Azure cloud platform using DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Create ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory for new data integrations.
• Implement data quality checks for reliable business self-service reporting.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness of the Azure cloud platform.
• Maintain architectural consistency and security compliance utilizing Azure native solutions.
• Collaborate with business teams and analysts to achieve goals.

This role requires you to have:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with initial data engineering experience.
• Proficient in English with effective communication skills; knowledge of Dutch or French is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in building ETL pipelines and proficiency in Scala or Python.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud platform, including Azure AD, Azure DevOps, and IaaS/PaaS.
