Serbyte IT, located in Brussels, is in search of a seasoned Data Developer specializing in data development and modeling. The role involves working on complex projects with the aim of optimizing and maintaining efficient databases. The newest member will join a dynamic and collaborative team, contributing to important business applications.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and maintain the database layer for multi-tier applications.
• Conduct data analysis, modeling, and physical database design.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures.
• Develop prototypes and write code according to business and technical requirements.
• Integrate databases with applications and corporate information systems.
• Perform database testing and optimize for performance.
• Document technical aspects of databases.
• Assist with database implementation, configuration, and tuning.

This role requires you to have:

• Strong expertise in data modeling and database design tools such as SQL Developer Data Modeler.
• Experience with Oracle SQL Developer and advanced knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with application development environments.
• Understanding of security in web applications and database management systems.
