Solidaris Wallonie is recruiting a Data Engineer to tackle numerous challenges in Brussels. The role involves enhancing their data platform and ensuring high-quality data management. The data team collaborates with IT professionals across Belgium, supporting the company's mission to provide accessible healthcare.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and manage the data platform at Solidaris.
• Ensure data quality and integrate data for informed decision-making.
• Develop and maintain the enterprise data model (EDM) iteratively.
• Transform business needs into data pipelines, code, and lakehouses.
• Create and maintain clear nomenclature and documentation.
• Organize online workspace access according to data policies.
• Conduct data product testing and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with managers, project leads, and report to the Lead Data Engineer.

This role requires you to have:

• Master's degree with 5+ years in data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks).
• Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Project management and Agile methodology skills.
• Capable of developing abstract and conceptual data models.
