The Data Analyst will work within the Awareness, Research, and Advice department to facilitate meaningful insights and recommendations that impact both national and international levels.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate methodologies, indicators, and statistics for human rights in Flanders.
- Manage data collection, processing, and analysis for continued monitoring of human rights and non-discrimination.
- Develop and integrate data systems and databases.
- Compile and report data for international reports and the human rights barometer.
- Design and implement dashboards to make data and key indicators accessible to the public.
- Support thematic research in data collection and analysis.

This role requires you to have:
- Master's degree in social sciences or statistics.
- Experience in quantitative research and understanding of qualitative methods.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like SAS, SPSS, Stata, or R.
- Strong knowledge in data management and quantitative research methods.
- Knowledge of descriptive statistics and multivariate data analysis.
- Proficiency in Google spreadsheets, Microsoft applications, and Excel.
