AstraNorth is in search of a skilled individual to lead their Data Engineering group, focusing on Google Cloud Platform. The position involves guiding a team of data engineers, designing technical solutions, and enhancing data ingestion frameworks. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in both Hadoop migrations and cloud technology implementation.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Lead the GCP team and manage the Data Engineer team.
- Create high-level and detailed technical designs and solutions.
- Develop data ingestion frameworks from various sources.
- Execute strong migration of Hadoop clusters to Google Cloud.
This role comes with the following benefits:
- 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.
This role requires you to have:
- Technical expertise in data science tools and methodologies.
- Experience with cloud technologies.
- Ability to suggest pipeline changes for staging strategy improvements.
