In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Manage and compare data against requirements.
- Analyze data from various sources and match with target data.
- Gather requirements and create high-level and detailed technical designs.
- Develop data ingestion frameworks for diverse sources.
- Oversee the migration of Hadoop clusters to Google Cloud.
This role comes with the following benefits:
- 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday
- Hybrid remote work from Toronto, ON
This role requires you to have:
- Experience with Google Cloud Services, particularly BigQuery, Dataflow, DataProc, and Cloud Functions.
- Ability in requirement gathering and technical design creation.
- Strong migration experience from Hadoop to Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in SQL and Java/Python.
- Communication skills.
- Professional Data Engineer certification on GCP.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience as a Data Analyst or similar project work.
- Knowledge of GCP tools like Tableau, BI, or Looker.
