Atlantis IT Group is on the lookout for a GCP Data Engineer to lead their cloud migration projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth transition of Hadoop clusters to Google Cloud, enhancing the data infrastructure. The data engineering team looks for individuals with a robust background in Google Cloud Services to drive innovative solutions.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Lead the GCP team in migrating Hadoop clusters to Google Cloud
- Develop high-level and detailed technical designs
- Create data ingestion frameworks from multiple sources
- Guide and manage the data engineering team
This role requires you to have:
- Experience with Google Cloud Services including Big Query, Looker, Dataflow, Hive, Spark, Airflow
- Proficiency in DataProc, Cloud Functions, Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Composer
- Extensive leadership experience in data engineering
- Strong communication skills
- Exposure to the Hadoop ecosystem
