Autodesk seeks a Principal Data Analyst to join their team, playing a crucial role in advancing data strategy and achieving business objectives. The role involves empowering product teams to make data-driven decisions by providing clear insights into customer and product usage. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Analytics and is based in Toronto, Canada.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges using data analysis.
- Track and report on key performance indicators and objectives for platform initiatives.
- Support product and engineering teams with data insights and communicate findings effectively.
- Develop impactful data visualizations using Power BI, Looker, or similar tools.
- Extract actionable insights from large datasets to support business initiatives.
- Implement advanced data models and statistical analyses to inform decisions.
- Ensure data quality and resolve discrepancies as they arise.

This role requires you to have:
- 8+ years in data analysis or business intelligence, preferably in tech or SaaS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar.
- Proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python or R.
- Experience with ELT tools and data visualization platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and modeling methodologies.
- Effective communication of data insights to varied audiences.
