In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret datasets to deliver actionable business insights.
  • Redesign and create reports and analytical tools.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders for reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Maintain data governance and quality through data dictionaries and business rules.
  • Develop and support data pipelines in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • Create and manage ETL operations using Azure Data Factory and similar technologies.
  • Build and maintain data storage solutions like Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Lake.
  • Develop optimized reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security policies.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Proven expertise in report development using Power BI, SSRS, and Excel.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with ETL processes and Azure Data Platform.

You would benefit from having:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Understanding of Canadian colonial impacts on Indigenous people.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous-specific anti-racism frameworks and reports.
  • Familiarity with equity, diversity, and inclusion principles in healthcare.
