In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering and leadership teams on AI/ML solution design, prototyping, testing, and training.
• Manage R&D processes to align with AI strategies and business objectives.
• Conduct machine learning tests and statistical analyses to optimize systems.
• Select suitable datasets and data representation techniques.
• Extend existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.
• Advise on AI/ML-related technology, strategy, and policies.

This role requires you to have:

• 2+ years of AI application experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• Proficient in Python coding.
• Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL database design.
• Understanding of algorithms, object-oriented and functional design, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Strong foundations in mathematics, probability, statistics, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and Keras.
• Expertise in machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, Numpy, Theano, and Pandas.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

You would benefit from having:

The role is a full-time permanent position, offering a competitive salary starting at CAD 70,000 annually. The position follows a typical 8-hour workday, Monday to Friday. Knowledge of French is preferred.
