The Data Engineer role plays a crucial part in leveraging data strategically across the company.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Develop robust data pipelines within the current data stack featuring Snowflake, DBT, Astronomer (Airflow), and AWS serverless architecture.
- Establish best practices in DBT and Snowflake to guide team members.
- Contribute to the implementation of a data orchestration tool for pipeline coordination and monitoring.
- Implement data quality processes for accurate and timely data delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate the cost and performance of data infrastructure.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
- Proficient in programming with Python or similar languages.
- Strong skills in SQL and data modeling.
- Understanding of data and technology's role in business strategy.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with AWS technologies like Lambda, API Gateway, and Event Bridge.
- Familiarity with data streaming technologies such as Kafka.
