Capital Sources Real Estate Finance, a leader in Commercial Mortgages and Real Estate Valuation, is seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to their rapid expansion. Over the past decade, they have supported builders, developers, and investors in financing real estate across Western Canada, continually improving the mortgage origination process to save time and money for their clients.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Develop process documents and data mapping, and establish a data governance framework.
- Identify process-based improvements for strategic initiatives.
- Lead the design and development of new systems and oversee implementation.
- Collaborate with vendors and solution providers to implement solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate project outcomes to ensure they meet business objectives.
- Analyze system needs, identify vulnerabilities, and enhance efficiency through technical support.
- Monitor and maintain systems and networks.
- Provide technical support and configure hardware and software systems.

This role requires you to have:
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Power Platform, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of data modelling techniques, database design and concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL programming languages, relational databases, and ETL processes and tools.
- Experience in designing and developing business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Exceptional time-management skills.
