The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is hiring two dedicated Data Analysts to support the national 988 suicide prevention hotline. The analysts will be vital in enhancing the effectiveness of the crisis service through comprehensive data analysis. Working closely with data engineers and other team members, they will ensure the hotline's data infrastructure meets analytical and reporting needs.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Analyze complex datasets to improve crisis service operations.
- Develop reports and visualizations for stakeholders including crisis counselors and policymakers.
- Monitor the hotline's performance and provide recommendations.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in data analysis.
- Collaborate on optimizing ETL processes and maintaining data models.
- Support data governance and compliance with privacy standards.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and meet data needs.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or relevant programming languages.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience in healthcare, crisis intervention, or mental health services.
- Familiarity with data governance and privacy regulations.
- Bilingualism or proficiency in a second language.
