With a focus on digital excellence, CHEO combines clinical care, research, and education. BORN Ontario, a data repository for perinatal health, seeks a Data Analyst to join their team to support data initiatives and improve analysis methods.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with BORN team and data requestors to clarify data elements needed.
• Write queries for data processing and perform analyses.
• Verify data analyses and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop systems for data organization and trend reporting.
• Prepare data outputs as requested and maintain analysis documentation.
• Ensure data security and compliance with privacy protocols.

This role requires you to have:

• Criminal Record Check
• University degree in epidemiology or statistics
• Proficiency in SAS and a programming language like R
• Experience with relational databases
• 3 years of experience in data analysis
• Ability to calculate epidemiologic measures
• Excellent computer skills, especially in Excel
• Fluency in English

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with GIS analysis
