CHEO is a globally recognized leader in pediatric health, dedicated to advancing integrated child and youth health care. With a focus on digital excellence, CHEO combines clinical care, research, and education. BORN Ontario, a data repository for perinatal health, seeks a Data Analyst to join their team to support data initiatives and improve analysis methods.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Collaborate with BORN team and data requestors to clarify data elements needed.
- Write queries for data processing and perform analyses.
- Verify data analyses and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop systems for data organization and trend reporting.
- Prepare data outputs as requested and maintain analysis documentation.
- Ensure data security and compliance with privacy protocols.

This role requires you to have:
- Criminal Record Check
- University degree in epidemiology or statistics
- Proficiency in SAS and a programming language like R
- Experience with relational databases
- 3 years of experience in data analysis
- Ability to calculate epidemiologic measures
- Excellent computer skills, especially in Excel
- Fluency in English
You would benefit from having:
- Clinical health research experience in maternal-child health
- Experience with GIS analysis
