This role contributes to the Enforcement team, tasked with enhancing the investigational processes using statistical and quantitative methodologies. CIRO aims to promote safe and equitable trading, ensuring investor protection across Canadian marketplaces.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and construct quantitative analytic processes for market analysis.
• Develop tools to automate investigation-related computational processes.
• Conduct detailed analysis of market and transaction data to provide reports.
• Assist in developing tools for management information systems.
• Create visualization tools for analyzing trading strategies.
• Develop training modules for team education on new processes.

This role requires you to have:

• Master's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, MATLAB, and R.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets and trading systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
