In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data engineers.
• Lead the design and development of scalable, low-latency, fault-tolerant data pipelines.
• Evaluate emerging open-source data technologies for platform integration.
• Implement performance optimizations for the data platform.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and business teams to develop technical solutions.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of data platform projects using agile methodologies.

This role comes with the following benefits:

This role requires you to have:

• 5-8 years experience in Java application development with expertise in Java 11+.
• Experience in building data pipelines with technologies such as Kafka, Apache Spark, or Apache Flink.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and knowledge of MPP platforms like Trino or Snowflake.
• Experience in deploying and orchestrating applications with platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or ECS.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
