Data Analyst

Edmonton Public Library, the city's largest information and entertainment lender, is searching for a driven Data Analyst to drive evidence-based decisions. Under the guidance of the Manager, Planning, Assessment & Research, this role helps develop the library’s assessment program, contributing to data projects, creating reports, and visualizing data. The role addresses the need for informed changes in library services.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing the assessment program.
• Transform internal and external data into comprehensive reports and presentations.
• Conduct research and evaluation projects.
• Coordinate and compile statistical reports on business plans.
• Identify trends impacting library services and develop recommendations for improvement.

This role requires you to have:

• University degree in a related field with coursework in research methodology and data analysis.
• Five years of experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis and performance measurement.
• Advanced skills in data collection, analysis, and visualization tools.
