The City of Ottawa's City Manager’s Office plays a critical role in aligning the city's administrative functions with the strategic goals set by the Council. Within this, the Service Optimization and Data Insights Branch is tasked with enhancing continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Data Insights Unit supports city teams in leveraging data for informed decision-making, focusing on the development of various data products and the implementation of city-wide data strategies.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Support the City’s Open Data Program
- Develop and manage data dashboards
- Review documents and products for data accessibility and feasibility

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis
- General knowledge of corporate technology systems, business intelligence, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
