Compest Solutions India Private Limited is looking for a skilled Azure Data Engineer with senior-level experience to join their team. The role is vital for driving the company's data initiatives, ensuring robust data integration and processing within a collaborative environment. The engineer will work predominantly on-site three days a week in Toronto, supporting cross-functional teams.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Direct analysis and interpretation of complex data in line with business objectives.
• Oversee the creation and deployment of data models using Azure Databricks.
• Utilize Databricks SQL to optimize data queries and enhance processing.
• Automate data pipelines with Databricks Workflows for seamless integration.
• Collaborate with various teams to meet data needs effectively.
• Ensure data integrity through validation and quality controls.
• Develop data visualization tools for informed decision-making.
• Conduct performance reviews of data systems and recommend improvements.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance.
• Integrate latest technological advancements into workflows.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate data findings.
• Support data strategy development in alignment with company goals.
• Promote improvement in data analysis methodologies and practices.
