This role is essential for developing robust data warehousing solutions using Snowflake for the financial services industry. The team focuses on delivering optimized data solutions and maintaining data integrity and security.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Design and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions for financial applications.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and scripts.
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs.
- Ensure data integrity and security in compliance with industry standards.
- Manage data migrations from legacy systems to Snowflake.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot Snowflake issues.
- Document Snowflake processes and systems.
This role requires you to have:
- 8+ years Snowflake data warehousing
- Strong SQL skills
- Azure Data Factory
- Data modeling and integration
- Financial industry knowledge
- Python & Pyspark proficiency
You would benefit from having:
- Experience in financial reporting
- SnowPro Core Certification
- Familiarity with other BI platforms
The position is a full-time contract lasting 12 months, requiring 40 hours per week.
