The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting research initiatives and driving scientific advancement.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Analyze primary and secondary data, including biosignals like EMG and ECG.
• Perform statistical analysis to discern trends and correlations.
• Develop predictive models for injury risks based on biosignal data.
• Integrate biosignal data with other sources for comprehensive insights.
• Create algorithms for analyzing complex datasets.
• Manage large datasets ensuring quality and data integrity.
• Visualize data findings using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and findings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for research advancements.
• Mentor junior team members and provide analytical expertise.

This role requires you to have:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Occupational Epidemiology or Data Science.
• Three years of experience analyzing large datasets.
• Experience with statistical software such as R, SPSS, or SAS.
• Strong understanding of research design and statistical analysis.
• Competency in writing comprehensive reports and analyses.

You would benefit from having:

• Proficiency in signal processing software like MATLAB.

Candidates will work within Ontario with a hybrid schedule from the Cambridge campus. French is not required.
