In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Lead and build the centralized data engineering team, defining its structure and culture.
- Develop scalable data engineering processes, setting standards for pipeline development and data quality.
- Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to deliver actionable data.
- Design and scale the data platform to support diverse needs.
- Enhance the speed and efficiency of data pipelines by optimizing processes.

This role requires you to have:
- 3+ years of management experience in data engineering.
- 6+ years of technical expertise in data engineering, including Python, Airflow/Dagster, DBT, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience building centralized data engineering teams.
- Strategic thinking and ability to execute tactical changes.
- Collaborative leadership and strong communication skills.
- Process-oriented and detail-oriented approach.
- Located within 3 hours of New York time zone.
